REMEMBERING MICHAEL JACKSON PART 1 AT https://malagaaunike.wordpress.com/2010/07/11/remembering-michael-jackson-part-1-from-0052-to-400/?preview=true&preview_id=2285&preview_nonce=d2e89fb1d3

L.K.:  Is everybody fathering everybody? I mean .. Is it like a village ?

J.J.:  Yes, well, we .. We have to.  Because us, we’re the adults, and they’re children … If we see them doing something wrong we’re gonna say something. It’s not up  to the nany or to the housekeeper or whoever  to reprimand them. It is up to us, as adults.

L.K.:  Do the kids come here often?

J.J.:   No. No.

L.K.:  Do they get along well, the kids?

J.J.:  Oh yeah …

L.K.:  Cause kids always fight.

J.J.:   Yeah. they get along very very well. They … It’s the video games and all that stuff: and having balloon fights and just … And then they get bored and they want to get out to the movie theater in case the lastest ammunition film … But they, they’re getting along.

L.K.:  Did they see their father’s film ?

J.J.:  I don’t know yet.  I think they may have a copy  cause according to my two sons they …

L.K.:  Because it’s on HVR now.

J.J.:  Yeah, yeah. But they’re not allowed to do too much on the internet and all that kind of stuff.

L.K.:  Good idea.

J.J.:  Yeah.

L.K.:  Were you surprised how well they did at the memorial service ?

J.J.:  Very, very well.

L.K.:  Everybody was.

J.J.:  Yes. They were … I guess, right when it happened, it was important for them to go and see Michael right then and there.  and they got it all out. But still, it always be, be there… They’re learning to live with it too. But they’ve done a tremendous job just being strong and being so young.

L.K.: Now,  your mummy now: How is she doing?

J.J.:  She’s doing very well.

L.K.:  She’s got Michael shoe … How does it work? with the float?

J.J.:  Well, you see what it is … They ‘re at the house. My mum is there and there is all kinds of help. There is tutors, there is cooks, and security, and kids and they get a chance to just be children and my mother just … She runs the rules, she enforces the rule: “this is what ‘s gonna happen” … They all have a meeting … They had a meeting last week and …. about just them getting together on vacation trips and things like that … So it looks like there is gonna be some travels going on too.

L.K.:  Everyone took it hard but Katherine took it specially hard, didn’t she ? Right? It’s hard to loose a child.

J.J.:  Yeah, it’s hard to imagine how that feels, but … She gets numb and quiet sometimes. And I think she sort of relive the childhood of his and just … about his laugh and what he used to do when he was young …

L.K.:  Your father recently said, I don’t know how it affected the kids, that she should have been a more attentive mother.

J.J.:  You know Larry, everybody has taken that out of context. I think my father said that …

L.K.: What did he say that for ?

J.J.: My father said that because my mother’s … Michael … My mother was very, very close to him. And she could get him to say and do things before my father and before any of us.

So the fact that he said my mother should have done this, my mother should have done that… But the bottom line is, we ALL were very busy in trying to tear down this wall that was surround him, that Michael surrounded himself with. But these were the outside people who didn’t want to see it.

And that’s what he meant by breaking that barrier or trying to.. That she should have been more attentive to trying to get through because he knew that she had a … in …. in just a pass all the time. No pass, but just ok. Just to get through. It was tough, very tough.

L.K.: There is probably still a lot of pain in him

J.J.: Yeah, he is still grieving, yeah.

L.K.:  Well your sis .. Just let me get this right…  Your sister Janet has talked about the fact that Michael had a problem and the family tried several interventions with regard to the problem with drugs. You think you could have done more ?

J.J.:  We all say that after the fact. But some of the attempts of intervention… I wasn’t there, I was out of the country, but I heard about them. But Michael would never ever ever take his own life. And I … If Michael was sitting here right now and we were to say to him “Michael, you’re not going to be here and your kids are going to be left fatherless”. He would say “Oh no! That would never happen !” .

And the fact that there has been so many ridiculous things being said by Doctor Klein and all these idiots saying those horrible things now that he’s not here … I’m very much against that.

Michael loved life. He was the type of person that if he saw a fly in the room, he wouldn’t smash it against the wall.  He would let it out, he would open the door to let the fly out. He loved preserving life and the life of others. Why would he take his own life ? It’s stupid.

L.K.:  (INAUDIBLE) professes a great love for him

J.J.No. How can you love him and not love me or the rest of the family ? It’s all biais.

L.K. :   Doctor Conrad Murray, Conrad Murray, charged with involuntary manslaughter. His hearing starts in August… Will you attend that trial ?

J.J.:  Yes, yes. I’m there for support to keep my mother strong, my father and the family and …

L.K.:  Keep your brothers strong ?  I mean, a judge has allowed him to keep his medical license

J.J.:  You know Larry, it’s not important whether he keeps his license or they take his license away. The bottom line is Michael is not here. What he administered in Michael should have been in a hospital setting and he did not act alone. I, all, feel, myself, Randy, Latoya, all of us feel that he is the fall guy. And knowing how this all thing works, knowing ….  It’s higher up than just the doctor. And he’s there, and if you squeeze him hard enough he will talk.

L.K. :  In the year since Michael died, there has been rumours of all kinds about what really happened. From day one, the Jackson family has made surprising allegations. When we come back,  Jermaine will address the truth and the lies surrounding Michael’s death.

Reporter:  Michael jackson’s father files a wrongfull death lawsuit against doctor Conrad Murray on the one year anniversary of his son’s death. the suit alledges that Murray withheld information from doctors and paramedics trying to save Jackson’s life, specifically that he had given the singer Propofol. Murray has plead not guilty to involuntary manslaughter charges in a criminal case.
